While our jewelry is designed for everyday wear, all jewelry naturally experiences wear over time depending on how it is used and cared for.

Gold-plated jewelry is created by applying a layer of genuine gold over a base metal. Like all gold-plated jewelry, the plating will naturally wear over time depending on frequency of wear, skin chemistry, environmental exposure, and care.

This natural process is considered normal wear and is not a manufacturing defect.


Daily Care Tips

To help keep your jewelry looking its best, we recommend:

✔️ Remove jewelry before exercising or participating in sports.

✔️ Avoid sleeping while wearing jewelry.

✔️ Remove jewelry before household cleaning or gardening.

✔️ Put jewelry on after applying perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray, or cosmetics.

✔️ Avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals, chlorine, cleaning products, and salt water.

✔️ Store each piece separately to minimize scratches.


Cleaning Your Jewelry

For routine cleaning:
• Use a soft microfiber or jewelry polishing cloth.
• Gently wipe the jewelry after each wear.
• Remove fingerprints, oils, and moisture before storing.

Avoid:
• Abrasive cloths
• Rough paper towels
• Toothpaste
• Baking soda
• Harsh jewelry cleaners unless specifically approved for your jewelry type.

Sterling silver cleaners should only be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Gold-plated jewelry should never be aggressively polished, as excessive polishing may gradually remove the gold plating.


Proper Storage

Proper storage helps extend the life of your jewelry.

• Away from direct sunlight;

Perfumes & Cosmetics

Perfumes, lotions, body oils, sunscreen, hair products, and cosmetics may gradually affect the finish of plated jewelry.

For best results:

Apply all beauty products first.

Allow them to fully dry.

Then put on your jewelry as the final step.


Natural Wear

All jewelry naturally changes over time.

Normal wear may include:

• Surface marks
• Slight fading
• Tarnishing
• Gradual wear of gold plating

These changes occur naturally through everyday use and are not considered manufacturing defects.

The lifespan of plated jewelry varies depending on frequency of wear and individual body chemistry.
